Your Baggage
In order to ensure that you enjoy low fares and convenient service, we offer an a la carte approach that provides a customized travel experience so you pay only for the services and products you need or desire. We offer several options for checked and carry-on baggage for you to choose from.
Our services, fees and guidelines related to baggage are as follows:
Carry-On Baggage Fees:
You are allowed one free personal item (such as a briefcase, purse, backpack, or laptop bag) that must fit completely under the seat in front of you. If you wish to place an additional carry-on in the overhead bin, the fee is as follows:

We recommend verifying your baggage using size checkers in ticket counter area of the terminal to ensure carry-on bags comply with requirements.
Items stored under the seat in front of you must not exceed 16" X 7" X 15".
Items stored in the overhead bin must not exceed 22" X 9" X 14".

* Baggage checked at the departure gate is subject to an additional $50 service fee.
Exceptions to Checked Baggage Charges:
- When traveling with infants and/or children, their strollers and car seats may be checked without charge.
- U.S. Military personnel traveling on orders are exempt from all baggage fees.(Size, weight, and content restrictions still apply)
- No single piece of checked baggage may weigh more than 99 pounds or exceed 115 linear inches (length + width + height).
Delayed or Lost Bags:
We will do everything possible to ensure your checked baggage travels on your flight. In the event your bag does not arrive with your flight, we will make every effort to see that your bag is returned to you as soon as possible.
All claims regarding delayed, lost or damaged baggage must be filed with Vision Airlines, Inc. dba PEOPLExpress or its designated agent prior to leaving the destination airport.
Limitations of Liability:
For travel between U.S. points, liability for loss, delay, or damage to checked baggage is limited to $3,400 per customer holding a confirmed reservation.
