At PEOPLExpress, we love pets. Because we care about your pets as much as you do and value their health and safety, we will not transport pets as checked baggage in the baggage and cargo compartments of our aircraft. There is a service fee for pets, other than service animals, which are transported in the cabin. Please refer to the Fares, Taxes and Fees section of our website for additional information. |
Small dogs and cats may travel with their owners or guardians in the cabin of the aircraft, provided that they are small enough to fit in a FAA approved plastic kennel or pet carrier that is of a size to fit under the seat in front of the owner or guardian (Maximum container size is 18" x 14" x 9" and maximum weight with pet inside is 40 pounds). In order for your dog or cat to be considered small enough to fit in an approved kenned or plastic carrier, your pet must be able to stand up and turn entirely around in the pet carrier. |
