Hazardous Item Guidelines
The items listed below have been identified by the TSA and FAA as being potentially hazardous to the safe operation of commercial aircraft. To aid in the planning of your trip, please consult the list below to ensure that items you plan to bring with you may be transported in either carry-on or checked luggage.

Restrictions:
Alcohol:
There is no restriction on the amount of alcohol you may pack in your checked luggage, provided it contains fewer than 24% alcohol by volume (beer and wine). Alcohol beverages with greater than 24% and up to and including 70% (140 proof) is allowed with the following restrictions:
- Up to five liters of alcohol per package
- Up to five liters of alcohol per person
- Must be in retail packaging
Alcohol over 70% (140 proof) is prohibited.
Dry Ice/Wet Ice:
Dry ice may be placed in carry-on and checked baggage provided the following limitations are met: Each customer is limited to 5.5 pounds total of dry ice. The packaging must allow for the release of carbon dioxide gas. The package must be marked with the net weight of the dry ice or the statement that the net weight of dry ice is 5.5 pounds or less. The name of the contents being cooled, along with the words "Dry Ice" or "Carbon Dioxide, Solid" are written on the outside of the package.
Wet Ice is prohibited in checked baggage. Wet ice may be used in carry-on baggage to maintain human organs, tissue samples, etc. The ice must be sealed in a heavy grade plastic bag which is then sealed in another plastic bag to prevent leakage. It must be transported in a leak-proof container.
Lithium Batteries:
Spare lithium, lithium-ion batteries of any kind are not allowed in checked baggage. Spare lithium, lithium-ion batteries for devices such as laptops, cell phones and cameras must be packed in carry-on baggage with the terminals covered/insulated.
For safety, we recommend that you remove batteries from devices in your checked bags and place them in your carry-on in separate plastic bags.
Damaged batteries will not be accepted for transport.
Batteries for automobiles, boats or aircraft will not be accepted for transport.
Liquids, Gels, or Aerosols:
3.4 ounce (100ml) bottle or less (by volume); 1 quart-sized, clear, plastic, zip-top bag; 1 bag per customer placed in screening bin. One-quart bag per person limits the total liquid volume each traveler can bring. 3.4 ounce (100ml) container size is a security measure.
Pressurized Containers:
Spray cans, butane, fuel, propane tanks, CO2 cartridges, self-inflating rafts, recreational oxygen prohibited from both checked and carry-on baggage.
Weapons:
Firearms carried as checked baggage MUST be unloaded, packed in a locked hard-sided container, and declared to the company representative at check-in.
