Terms And Conditions
A Vision Airlines, Inc. dba PEOPLExpress reservation is valid for travel on Vision Airlines, Inc. dba PEOPLExpress' scheduled service only. All purchases on air, taxes, baggage fees, and service fees are non-refundable. This transaction is an instant purchase, and all terms and conditions apply immediately.
No credit or refunds will be given for fare differences or fluctuations after a reservation has been completed. However, you can make changes to your reservations online at www.flypex.com or by calling 844-435-9739.
Taxes and Fees :
Domestic Travel - Fares include airport Passenger Facility Charges of up to $18, September 11th Security Fees of up to $10 and U.S. Segment Fee of $4.00 per passenger, per segment. A segment is defined as a takeoff and a landing.
International Travel - Fares include airport Passenger Facility Charges of up to $18, September 11th Security Fees of up to $10 and other government taxes and fees (including U.S. government excise tax) of up to $190 based on destination; total may vary slightly based upon currency exchange rate at time of purchase. A segment is defined as a takeoff and a landing.
All Travel - A first bag may be checked for a fee of $20 each way and a second bag may be checked for a fee of $25 each way if the checked bag is purchased and surrendered at the airport ticket counter in the lobby. Oversized, overweight or bags checked at the gate are subject to additional fees of up to $75. Details regarding our fees and additional amenities available for purchase may be found on our website at www.flypex.com. Fares are limited, may not be available on all flights and are subject to availability at the time of purchase. Fares, routes, and schedules are subject to change without notice.
Authorized Reseller or Agent :
The purchase and resale of any or all Vision Airlines, Inc. dba PEOPLExpress products including, but not limited to, travel, hotel, auto, activities or services, packages, promotions and taxes, baggage fees and/or seat fees by any individual, entity or company is strictly prohibited unless you are an authorized agent of Vision Airlines, Inc. dba PEOPLExpress.
Reservations - The following rules apply :
Name changes on purchased tickets are not permitted. All reservations and associated services, taxes, baggage fees, and seat fees are non-refundable after 24 hours from the time of purchase.
Customers purchasing flights not less than 7 days in advance of their scheduled departure may cancel their reservations within 24 hours of purchase and receive a full refund. Cancellations under this policy may not be completed online and can only be completed by calling 1-844-4FLYPEX (1-844-435-9739).
If you choose to cancel your reservation up to 24 hours prior to departure, a fee of $75 per person, per segment will apply. Credit is issued minus cancellation and bookings fees. The remaining funds will be applied as non-refundable credit good for future travel on Vision Airlines, Inc. dba PEOPLExpress. All travel involving funds from this itinerary number must be completed no later than one year from the date the original itinerary was booked. Changes to your reservations can be made online at www.flypex.com or by calling 844-435-9739.
If you cancel or change your reservation 24 hours or less prior to scheduled departure, all funds will be forfeited and no credit will be given. Vision Airlines, Inc. dba PEOPLExpress does not overbook its flights; therefore, if you do not show up for your flight or cancel within 24 hours of scheduled departure, your entire fare for that segment will be forfeited.
Airport Check-In :
Please check in at the airport ticket counter location noted on the itinerary portion of the confirmation. A valid government issued photo identification, such as a driver license, state identification card or passport, is required upon check-in for any passenger over the age of eighteen (18).
Domestic Flights - Ticket Counter Hours
We recommend that you arrive at the ticket counter location two (2) hours prior to your scheduled departure. The cut-off time for check-in is 60 minutes prior to departure.
You must check in at the ticket counter or online at least 60 minutes prior to departure time for all flights; if you do not, your reservation for that segment is subject to cancellation.
Passengers are subject to being reassigned to another seat if necessary to provide a seating accommodation required by section 382.83 of DOT ACAA Part 382, Nondiscrimination on the Basis of Disability in Air Travel.
Airport Security :
Aviation security is extremely important for your safety and that of your fellow travelers. As you prepare to depart on your trip, please keep security foremost in your mind. DO NOT accept any items from unknown persons to carry with you. Keep your luggage in your immediate control at all times.
DO NOT allow anyone to tamper with your luggage.
If your bags have been outside of your immediate control for any reason, or if anyone has given you something to carry on this flight, NOTIFY A Vision Airlines, Inc. dba PEOPLExpress representative for proper clearance of your belongings before your flight.
Baggage :
Passengers wishing to check luggage will be charged a per person, per bag, baggage fee. All baggage fees are non-refundable. Each ticketed passenger is allowed a maximum of three (3) checked bags, not to exceed of 50 lbs. each and outside dimensions (L+W+H) not to exceed 63 inches. Bags exceeding weight or size limitations are subject to additional charges.
Each ticketed passenger, may carry-on one bag for a fee that may be stowed in an overhead compartment in the cabin of the aircraft. The carry-on bag exterior dimensions can measure up to 9" high, 14" wide and 22" long. The exterior dimensions include wheels, handles, pockets and decorations.
Additionally, each passenger at no charge may bring one personal item, such as a purse, briefcase or laptop computer that fits under the seat directly in front of the passenger. The dimensions for the personal item may not exceed 7" high, 16" wide and 15" long. The exterior dimensions include wheels, handles, pockets and decorations.
As a reminder, airlines are not liable for items such as jewelry, cash, electronics, negotiable and business documents, prescription drugs, auto or house keys, or irreplaceable photographs. PEOPLExpress prohibits the foregoing items being placed in checked baggage. These should be carried on with you.
Claims for delayed or damaged bags or contents must be made at the airport within 4 hours of flight arrival time at the destination city. Claims for damaged contents are presumed invalid if there is no evidence of external damage to the luggage. Luggage by nature is designed to protect its contents and provide suitable protection for the contents of the luggage. Vision Airlines, Inc. dba PEOPLExpress is not responsible for, and no claim will be taken for, any damage that does not impair this ability.
Vision Airlines, Inc. dba PEOPLExpress is not responsible for any damage caused by normal wear and tear on the luggage. As of September 27, 2006, customers are prohibited from taking liquids, gels, and/or aerosols through the passenger screening checkpoint into the boarding area EXCEPT one clear transparent re-sealable 1 quart (1liter) plastic bag containing liquids, gels and/or aerosols in containers of 3.4 oz. (100ml) capacity or less per container. The contents of the plastic bag must fit comfortably and the plastic bag must be completely closed/sealed and subjected to x-ray inspection separate from the passenger's carry-on bag. Liquids (to include juice) or gels for diabetic or other medical needs, medications, and baby formula and baby food in containers, if a baby or small child is traveling, not contained in a clear transparent re-sealable 1 quart (1liter) plastic bag or over 3 oz. (90ml) can be carried onboard but must be declared to the TSA at the screening checkpoint. Breast milk is in the same category as liquid medications. A mother flying without her child will be able to bring breast milk through the checkpoint, provided it is declared prior to screening.
